49ers get lucky with Deebo Samuel injury | He could return in the regular season
Deebo Samuel is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL and last week there was a huge scare when Samuel was carted off the field against the Buccaneers.
Everyone feared that Deebo tore his ACL, but that is not the case.
According to ESPN, Samuel suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee and a sprained left ankle. He will miss some time but there were no broken bones and he is “expected to return at some point during the regular season.”
This is a huge win for the 49ers. It is a blessing that he had no broken bones or major injuries. Deebo and the 49ers are going to be tough to stop in the NFC. Brock Purdy will be fine moving forward as well after he was banged up, so the 49ers get some really good news on the injury front.
