Austin Aune the oldest NCAA quarterback will enter the draft before his 30th birthday

Austin Aune is finally leaving North Texas for the NFL! The former baseball star who spent six years in New York’s farm system is heading to the NFL.
The 29 year old gunslinger grew up in Argyle, Texas and was a superstar in two sports both Baseball and football as a quarterback.
Aune originally committed to TCU for baseball but that did not work out. He would return to football by going to Arkansas for the spring before eventually transferring to North Texas.
It is not like Austin Aune cannot play. The week before his 29th birthday he won Offensive Player of the Week in the Conference USA.
North Texas was 7-5 this year, and Aune set a record by throwing his 32nd touchdown of the year in their conference title game.
If Aune makes an NFL roster he will be the first 30-year-old rookie.
