Jacksonville Jaguars are playing tough this year, but if you go to their games I hope you are careful when you buy food from their stadium concessions because they were just crushed by health department.
According to Action News Jacksonville, The Jaguars were hit with 129 violations in the 29 concession stands at TIAA Bank Field.
Health Inspectors arrived at the Jaguars and the Raiders game and found tons of violations including two dead rodents and 159 rodent droppings. What is worse is 7 of the 29 concession stands were operating with an expired license.
The Concessions Stands are ran by Delaware North who released this statement:
“Delaware North follows the highest standards in foodservice and has strict policies to ensure compliance with all applicable food safety standards and regulations,” the statement read. “A team of health inspectors spent the day on Nov. 6 inspecting the foodservice locations during a live event with more than 62,000 fans. Our managers worked closely with the health inspectors during the visit, and most of the violations identified were rectified immediately or within 24 hours.
Good thing the Jaguars do not have a game this weekend, I hope they have some cleaning crews in to fix the issues, because that is gross.
