Tennessee football is riding high after that huge win against Alabama. The entire state is feeling fearless. At a Tennessee High School Football game a skydiver was hoping to get the crowd fired up before a 7pm kickoff game between David Crockett High School when things did not go as planned.

The parachutist suffered a very hard landing in a crash landing. The parachutist was airlifted to the hospital via helicopter.

Jerry Boyd the Superintendent of the School district released this statement:

“Our deepest sympathies go out to the family of the injured skydiver that has passed away,” he said in a statement. “We ask that everyone keep the family in their thoughts and prayers as they deal with the loss of a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.”

According to USA Today, The skydiver was 55 years old and had “more than 1500 jumps to his credit.
