Former Missouri high school standout football player was shot and killed by his former teammate
According to Missouri City Police reports, Terry Petry a former star football player at Ridge Point High School was found with a gunshot wound to his chest. Paramedics immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police are now saying that his former teammate on the Ridge Point High School football team is being charged with murder. Alex Francis is being charged with murder.
The crazy thing is Petry and Francis were best friends.
Petry’s talents earned him a scholarship at the University of Missouri. He left the year before graduation and then spent a year at Blinn College and a year at Texas Southern University. His injuries stopped him from being able to play the game he loved.
