A Kentucky man was arrested for breaking into Julio Jones house in Atlanta | He was wearing the clothes he stole
Martin Williams, a 31-year-old Bowling Green, Kentucky native is not the best thief. He has been charged with two counts of first-degree burglary and is in Fulton County jail according to reports.
Williams, was arrested after robbing Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Julio Jones’ Buckhead house in Atlanta.
Police responded to a burglary at Jones’ residence, but Williams was not the sharpest tool in the drawer. He was wearing the clothes he stole from Jones when police approached him.
“There were several items missing from the location, which included clothing and jewelry,” Atlanta Police Capt. Ben Vayens told WAGA-TV in Atlanta, “and also (the officer) did a great job taking a detailed description and providing a detailed description over the radio. …
“When he apprehended the male, he did have on one of his sweatshirts that were stolen from the residence, the exact description provided by the victims, and that helped lead to the arrest.”
Of the things stolen were clothes with NFL logos, Charles Barkley Shoes, A Watch and more. Jones will be able to pick up the stolen items when he returns to Atlanta.
