Former Florida State standout football player arrested on drug and gun charges | Possession of Cocaine, Meth, Weed, and more

Delvin Purifoy the 28-year-old former Florida State Seminoles star linebacker was arrested and boy did he have some drugs in his possession.

Pensacola Police stopped Purifoy on Pace Blvd for a simple traffic violation when he discovered he had tons of drugs in his possession.

He was charged with:

• possession of cocaine with intent to sell
• possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell
• possession of marijuana with intent to sell
• possession of opioid (oxycontin) with intent to sell
• possession of drug paraphernalia
• possession of a weapon while in the commission of a second-degree felony

The police report says Purifoy had this amount of drugs in his possession.

• a bag of marijuana under
• two oxycodone pills
• a bag with 29 grams of methamphetamine
• a bag with 18 grams of marijuana
• 10 grams of crack cocaine
• a semi-automatic pistol
• $780 in $20 bills

The Judge gave him a 76,000 dollar bond and he was quickly released. He will be back in court soon to deal with the arrest.

Purifoy was four star recruit and a top 10 linebacker in the country coming out of high school.
