49ers send four draft picks to the Carolina Panthers for Christian McCaffrey
The Carolina Panthers just landed a 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Round pick for running back Christian McCaffrey.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the San Francisco 49ers just pulled off the trade to land the star running back sending him back to the Bay where he is from.
Remember the 49ers had three third round picks in 2023 so giving up one third will not hurt them too bad. The Niners were rewarded draft picks because Mike McDaniel and Martin Mayhew, two minority staff members were hired by other organizations.
The 49ers love giving up draft picks, and they are basically saying we are all in. Will it pay off? Their QB situation sure hasn’t worked.
