Texas Longhorns DB Ishmael Ibraheem suspended indefinitely after second arrest in less than a year
Ishmael Ibraheem is a very solid football player. The redshirt Freshman however will not get to play this year for the Longhorns. Head Coach Steve Sarkisian has suspended the standout cornerback indefinitely for his second arrest in less than a year.
On Monday, Ibraheem was arrested by the University of Texas Police Department. The details of the arrest were not reported, but according to the Daily Crime Log of the University, a report was filed yesterday by the Athletic Department at 2100 San Jacinto Blvd. for Theft. The police were called to file the report at 8:55 pm, but the incident occurred around 5:30pm. I am not sure this is the actual charge or not, but it does make sense being it is from the Athletic Department.
Back in 2021, Ibraheem was arrested for allegedly violating a revenge porn law in Oklahoma.
He allegedly shared a screenshot from a video of him having consensual sex with a woman who was an Oklahoma State student.
And while Ibraheem was in high school at Dallas Kimball, he was charged with evading arrest and carjacking, but those charges were later dropped.
