Five Philadelphia High School football players shot leaving the field | One 14-year-old is dead
Roxborough High School in Philadelphia is grieving today after five of their student-athletes were shot leaving a scrimmage.
According to reports, all five of the victims were leaving the field following a scrimmage with both Northeast High School and Boys Latin Charter School.
The scrimmage was over and when the players were walking off the field, a Green Ford Explorer drove up and fired multiple shots at the victims, and then fled. Police believe there were at least two shooters
A 14-year-old boy was shot once in the left side and later died at the hospital.
Another 14-year-old boy was shot once in his left thigh. Police say he’s stable at Einstein Medical center.
A 17-year-old boy was shot once in his right arm and three times in his left leg. He is stable at Temple University Hospital.
A fourth victim was treated for grazing, and the fifth victim is unknown, according to police.
