Player Summary:
Sr and a 3-year starter at WILL for LATU. Wide shoulders, long legs, long arms, and good hand size make up for a long, lean athletic build. Sufficient height/weight combo. Average AA. He showcases solid balance and agility. He displays good competitive nature and toughness. Good engine and is willing to chase the ball carrier. He is willing to make a variety of tackles. He shows sufficient instincts, play speed and strength. Coupling these factors with his sufficient read and react skills leads to good tackling production. He shows average explosiveness. In general, he shows good range as he is capable tracking back into coverage. He displays sufficient squareness. In the run, he shows sufficient tackling inside the box and in space/outside the box. He shows sufficient pursuit ability, due to his average play speed. He shows subpar hand usage in block shedding. Persistently, he gets stuck on OL but tries to win with his strength in spite of his quality of play strength. In the pass, he took a good amount of zone coverage reps against primarily TEs. Sufficient in zone, occasionally letting his man slip behind him. Subpar in his man coverage snaps, due to his marginal ball skills. Looks uncomfortable in man coverage.
Scheme Fit:
WILL
Power Statement:
An average, rotational WILL who has some sufficient traits against run and pass.
