Is the pressure of being the Super Bowl odds favorites could be too much for the Buffalo Bills?

Dr. Selene Parekh provides an update on Josh Allen’s foot injury. What does this mean for Week 15? How will it affect him? Dr. Parekh breaks it down.
Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills have everyone believing they could be the next Super Bowl Champs, but as a die-hard fan, I guess i am still holding back hope until it happens.

Super Bowl 57 will be here before you know it, and this year the Buffalo Bills have a ton of hype around them. Many are trying to figure out who will be playing one another at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

The Buffalo Bills have pretty amazing odds right now, but should the fanbase be worried? If you bet on Super Bowl 2023, you will find out that the Los Angeles Rams are -4 Point Super Bowl 2023 favorites over the +4 Cincinnati Bengals. The Los Angeles Rams are -195 odds to win the Super Bowl. The Cincinnati Bengals are +165 odds to win Super Bowl 57.

The Bills however are +600 to win it all, and that worries myself as a die hard Bills fan. If you look at the odds favorites to win the Super Bowl in the past several years, none of the teams won the Super Bowl. This year the Bills have the third best odds, but should that worry you as a Bills fan?

The Bills were one of the best offenses in the NFL, and had the top defense. They added Jordan Phillips, Shaq Lawson, and Von Miller to the defensive line. The Bills also added cornerback Kaiir Elam to their secondary.

While the Bills lost Cole Beasley and Emmanuel Sanders on the offensvie side of the ball, they added rookie running back James Cook who has great hands catching the ball out of the backfield. The Bills also added free agent tight end O.J. Howard, and drafted Boise State wide receiver Khalil Shakir.

The Buffalo Bills fell short on their quest to make the Super Bowl last season after losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisional round of the playoffs.

The Bills are all over the media right now and everyone is crowning them before a snap has been played. That worries me because as a Bills fan I went through 2 decades of our team sucking. I know things have changed with Josh Allen at the helm, but it still makes me worried.

It is not easy to be a Super Bowl favorite, because everyone will be gunning for you. This year the Patriots, Jets and Dolphins in the AFC East, all did a ton of work to improve their rosters.

The Jets may have had the best draft in the past ten years, and the Dolphins added Tyreek Hill and several other offensive weapons with a new and intelligent head coach. The Patriots are still led by the greatest coach to ever do it, so at the end of the day, it is not going to be a quick path to the Super Bowl.

Here is my question, am I just worrying? Or do the Bills need to tread carefully? On paper, I am not sure there is a team in the NFL that can compete with them. But the Bills cannot let this get to their heads. Confidence is good, but cockiness can get you beat.
