Rams QB Matthew Stafford is dealing with a “Thrower’s Elbow” injury
The Los Angeles Rams are going to open up playing Von Miller and the Buffalo Bills. Matthew Stafford is dealing with a tendon issue in his throwing elbow that is a nagging injury.
Sean McVay called it a tricky deal and abnormal for a quarterback. This is something that MLB pitchers deal with, and is called Thrower’s Elbow.
McVay said Stafford played through the injury last year, and if he did jeez it could not have been that bad. He posted some of the best numbers of his career in throwing yards (4,886), throwing touchdowns (41), as well as completion percentage (67.2).
Stafford is a tough guy, and I would not be shocked if he is more than ready for the first game of the year.
