2023 NFL Draft Prospect Agiye Hall suspended following his arrest for Criminal Mischief
Former Alabama star wide receiver Agiye Hall recently made the decision to transfer to Texas for more playing time, but that is going to take a back seat now.
According to reports, Hall has been indefinitely suspended after being arrested on Thursday night by UT police on a criminal mischief charge.
Hall faces a Class B misdemeanor charge for damages totaling between $100 to $750. The UTPD report says that he damaged a parking boot valued at $600 that had been placed on his Dodge Challenger, according to ESPN.
Texas released this statement:
“We’re aware of the situation involving Agiye Hall, have talked with his family, and have suspended him indefinitely from all team activities for conduct that is detrimental to our program,” Texas Coach Steve Sakisian said in a statement.
Agiye Hall is a big and physical wide receiver. He is 6’3 and 200 pounds and is a top prospect. He played in seven games at Alabama and was hoping to have a huge season in 2023.
Hall was suspended at Alabama as well. On April 6, Alabama coach Nick Saban told reporters that Hall had been suspended for a violation of team rules.
He will have questions to answer from NFL teams. They are going to want to know more about his character.
