Houston Texans reach a settlement agreement with the Deshaun Watson accusers | WOW
The Houston Texans were being sued in a civil case by attorney Tony Buzbee for the Texas knowing about Deshaun Watson’s misconduct and reportedly covering it up.
According to the Texans, they released a statement saying they settled the cases.
“Although our organization did not have any knowledge of Deshaun Watson’s alleged misconduct, we have intentionally chosen to resolve this matter amicably.”
“This is not an admission of any wrongdoing, but instead a clear stand against any form of sexual assault and misconduct.”
The team added, “We hope that today’s resolution will provide some form of closure to the parties involved, our fans and the Houston community at large.”
The women claimed the Texans enabled Watson’s sexual misconduct. This is interesting in my opinion. There are still four accusers who Deshaun Watson has not settled with. Is that the hold-up on his suspension?
