From the Class of 2022: Who is Favorite to Win Rookie of the Year For This Upcoming Season?
There are many strong contenders when it comes to potential Rookie of the Year candidates, but there are a select few that manage to overshadow the rest. Furthermore, we can actually already get a pretty good insight as to who we might see get this honour by simply taking a look at a few key pieces of data.
In this article, we will be talking about a few of the players that are the most likely candidates for winning rookie player of the year, as well as also taking a look at why each of said players are so deserving of such an honour.
Kenny Pickett
You probably already saw this one coming. Kenny Pickett has been making headlines all over the world for his unmatched playing prowess – not just wearing gloves on both hands – and he is undoubtedly one of the best rookies out there today. In fact, it looks as if Kenny Pickett is the overall favourite to win rookie of the year, with the overwhelming majority of people agreeing that he would be the most likely candidate to win.
This would come as no surprise to anyone if this were to come to fruition, and in reality, most people already think that giving Kenny rookie of the year is a done deal – a notion that may not be too far away from the truth.
Almost every online football betting site lists Kenny as being the favorite to receive this honor; when you take a second to think about his performance and ability to change the tide of a game all on his own, then this just becomes all the more promising.
Kenny Pickett has an incredibly strong chance of winning rookie of the year, and there would perhaps be no one more deserving of this honour than Kenny.
Drake London
The Kenny Pickett Vs Drake London debate has been rife with controversy, with there being a sizable number of people out there that believe Drake is the easy choice to win rookie of the year.
This sentiment is also reflected in the polls – Drake is right on Kenny’s tail, with him even leading the race at the beginning of the year. Of course, public opinion only accounts for so much, and it would be misleading to say that the public’s opinion is the end all be all.
However, Drake has done more than enough to prove himself as a valid candidate for rookie of the year, and it would be an understatement to say that he has earned this honor ten times over.
So, who do you think will end up taking rookie of the year? Do you think Kenny Pickett is the clear winner, or do you think Drake London is just the superior player? Either way, it’s going to be interesting to watch.
There is always the chance that neither of the stated players could become rookie of the year – there are so many talented young players out there this year that trying to pick the best of the best is a near-insurmountable task. Have fun.
