What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2023 NFL Draft?

I am an experienced defensive back with great discipline, football IQ/awareness, and excellent ball skills. I have improved patience, technique, and instincts. I also have great speed, acceleration, hips, and recovery speed. I separate myself from others with my extremely competitive nature, elite work ethic, relentless mindset, and mental preparation.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

Started playing football around the age of five years old. Took a break after middle school and came back to football my senior year of high school.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

I am an extreme competitor, very coachable and versatile athlete.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

I would invest into international movements like The Salvation Army. Movements like these helped keep at-risk kids aways from negative behaviors. Instead promoting love, support, and structure for the future of the world.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

“Learn to be comfortable, with being uncomfortable.”

Who was your childhood hero?

Richard White II

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?

Lorenza Pearson is one of the hardest working defensive backs in my position group. Can’t wait to see all his hard work pay off this season!

What is your biggest pet peeve?

Wasting my time

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

Choosing to take the harder route by starting a football team back in 2018 the Wheeling Cardinals. The program has faced adversity like no other up unto this point. Glad to be a part of it all though and it’s made me the player I am today.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

Well my class started the football program here in 2018. I’ve been able to meet some great friends/teammates. Also, I’ve created great relationships with my defensive coordinator/position coach and head coach of my football team, who have been here my entire career.

What is your favorite snack food?

Bacon

What is the best part of football?

Being able to dominate your opponent, because of how mentally and physically prepared you are!

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

I have a relentless mindset and great work ethic.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

I would compare myself to Denzel Ward. We are similar in speed, size, and athleticism.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

  1. Lebron James – a great role model and leader for the black community through sports
  2. Martin Luther King – legendary black activist during the most uncomfortable times for black America
  3. Rich Paul – influential black business agent and creator of Klutch Sports
