Raiders make NFL history by hiring the first black female president in Sandra Douglass Morgan
The Las Vegas Raiders made history this week when they hired Sandra Douglass Morgan as the team’s new president.
Douglass Morgan becomes the first Black woman to occupy the president role in NFL history.
Morgan is an attorney and the former Chairwoman of the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Morgan will replace Dan Ventrelle who was fired by the organization a few months ago.
Morgan is no stranger to football, her husband Don played in the NFL for both the Minnesota Vikings and Arizona Cardinals.
