Ohio high school football standout Marvelous Walton gunned down while sitting in an SUV

Marvelous Walton had a bright future. The standout football player was being coached by former NFL quarterback Bruce Gradkowski and was hoping to have a huge senior year.
That all changed on Saturday, July 9th when Marvelous was gunned down while sitting in an SUV with others.
According to reports, Walton died at the scene following the shooting. Another 17 year old was shot and listed in critical condition.
The police say the two 17-year-olds were sitting in a Jeep Wrangler SUV when they were shot by a gunman. Police cannot confirm if there were more than two gunmen at this point.
They shooters ran from between houses fired on the two teenagers and fled in a Black SUV.
Bruce Gradkowski, a former NFL quarterback who coached the St. Francis football team last year, said the 17-year-old “had a genuine, contagious smile and personality.” “He was working his tail off this off-season and ready to lead as a senior,” Gradkowski said. “I gave him the nickname Panera, that’s where we first met while he was working. Love You, RIP my Friend“
