What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Growing up in Texas and watching Vince Young win the 2006 Rose Bowl.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Winning my first Patriot League conference championship in ‘19. And any big TD, sack, or INT that I’ve made.

What sets you apart from other linebackers?

My ability to rush the passer and walk out in coverage.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

Positive energy that I try to spread to my teammates and coaches.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Brett Favre, he was always one of my favorite players growing up.

How do you prepare for games?

Before a game I like to listen to Jay-Z and keep things light in the locker room.

What should we know about Liam Anderson the person?

I’m an Economics major and I love music and movies.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

A defense that moves its linebackers. Having a defense that is very versatile and changes up looks for the offense is fun to play in to create chaos and confusion.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I like the saying “be where your feet are” so whether that’s on or off the field I take on each challenge with full focus. That way you are never giving anything but 100% effort on whatever comes your way.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A player that loves playing football and who can do a lot of different things on the football field.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

First day of camp.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Jason Modak. He was an interior DL for us who didn’t get as much credit as he deserved for the season that our defense had last year. Definitely the unsung hero of the team.
