What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2023 NFL Draft?

VERSATILITY. I can line up anywhere on the field from running back, wide receiver, in the slot, etc. you name it. I also find myself to be coachable, smart, and believe that I am one of the fastest collegiate athletes. I might not be the biggest or strongest, but I am 100000% sure a lot of other dudes can’t run with me.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

I started playing football at the age of 6.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

One thing the NFL teams should know about me is that you’ll get my all in everything if the opportunity presents itself. I am all for the team and would do anything for the team in order to succeed. I will be coachable and make the best of every opportunity when the ball is in my hands.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

If I could donate to one cause in this world it would be to the United Negro College Fund (UNCF).

What is the best advice you have ever received?

The best advice I have ever received was to control what I can control, and God will take care of the rest. With God by my side and faith anything is possible.

Who was your childhood hero?

My mom. She was a single mom who worked two jobs to make ends meet, but always made sure my siblings and I had any and everything we asked for even though she struggled. My childhood hero would definitely be my mom.

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?

I believe everyone in the locker room is underrated. We have a lot of talent on that team, but we do not get the recognition we deserve due to the fact that it’s a Division 3 program. Every single person in that locker room is hungry for success and I know if the opportunity presents itself, all of those young men would give it their all and make the best of it. However, if I had to pinpoint one man out, it would be senior wide receiver, Quintus Reid. This man is an absolute DOG, has huge impact when he is on the field, and when the ball is in his hands. He has an unexplainable work ethic, great leader, but most of all, he is a great person on and off the field. He will open a lot of eyes this year. I will let his film and stats speak for itself.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

On the football field, my biggest pet peeve is selfish teammates. I have always been one of those guys that continuously puts the team before me, so I expect that from everyone else. From a real world life perspective, my pet peeve would still be selfish people. I believe that eventually, everyone will need help one day. Some people have nothing at all, and there are people who can easily help, but decide not to.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

The hardest moment in my life that I had to overcome was losing my oldest brother. During my sophomore year of college, I got a call that someone took the life of my oldest brother. He never got the chance to see me play football on a collegiate level. After that season and year, it pushed me more to be a better person on and off the field because that is exactly what he would have wanted for me. It hurts to lose someone so close to you, but that gave me the drive I never knew I needed.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

My school may not be the biggest school, but it is 100% a family from the faculty and staff on down. This place holds a special place in my heart because when other schools bailed out on me after my senior season in high school, Dean College took a chance on me and gave me the opportunity to play football on a collegiate level.

What is your favorite snack food?

Easy. Mott’s Fruit Snacks.

What is the best part of football?

The best part of football is building a brotherhood. I have guys in the locker room right now that will be a part of my life forever. The bonds and relationships that l have built since I have been in college is unreal, especially with me being so far away from home. I basically created another family up there in Massachusetts.

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

“Through every dark night there’s a bright day ahead of you,” meaning that no matter how bad today may have been, tomorrow the sun will still shine. Never let one day bring you down or discourage you.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

Tyreek Hill. He is not the biggest or the strongest, but he can line up anywhere on the field and have a huge impact. He is also a missile with blazing speed, and I definitely feel like I can live up to the potential of what he does.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

Darren Sproles, my brother, and God. Darren Sproles is similar to me on the field, always doubted, and laughed at because of how small of a player he was but turned out to be one heck of a player on the next level. I would ask him how exactly he faced the adversity. It is easy to tell someone how to handle adversity, but when you have someone that has actually been through exactly what you’re going through, it hits a little different. As for my brother, I just want to talk to him one last time and let him know that I will never give up on my dreams, I forever take care of our family, and just give him one last hug. Last but not least God. I would ask Him what my purpose is on earth. I know everyone has a purpose, but I want to know what my exact purpose on earth was and if I am on the right path to be where I want to be in life.
