What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Growing up coming from Columbus, Ohio everyone played basketball and my older brother started playing football and when he wanted to play football, I wanted to play football and then it turned into something incredible.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

In little league when I was in school there were 4 consecutive games where I was a running back and scored on the first play of the game. At Mifflin high school in Columbus we had a game against Harvest prep where the game came down to the last play. And at Findlay winning the GMAC championship thus past season.

What sets you apart from other defensive backs?

I’m not afraid of being physical and I also take pride in my technique and that is something I continue to perfect as well.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

I bring positive energy through the game there’s always ups and downs. I’m always out there preaching positivity and moving onto the next play.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Champ Bailey, just to pick his brains on how he became a great cornerback. I would love to sit down with him and have a great conversation with him. Champ Bailey is also someone I watch alot of as well.

What is a moment that improved you as a football player?

Honestly I played safety before I played cornerback and me playing safety allowed me to learn every position on defense and when I moved to cornerback it allowed me to play faster.

What should we know about Jeremiah Jackson the person?

A creator, a poet, a writer, I have my own YouTube channel Kagelvltv and I am also a podcast host. Jeremiah Jackson is as LeBron James says “More than just an athlete.”

What is your favorite coverage and why?

Playing man coverage but I was most successful playing cover 2 in the flat, but I love playing man versus man.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Facing challenges head on is the best way to handle challenges if you run away from a challenge it will haunt you.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A hardworker, someone who is determined to get better everyday, someone who won’t back down from challenges and someone who is willing to learn.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

First winning back to back GMAC championships our conference, and looking forward to a national championship and getting my personal goals accomplished like getting to be an All-American.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Ervin Besingi, he is supremely talented, one of the hardest workers I know, and he’s one of the best teammates I’ve had as well.
