Report: Ravens LB Jaylon Ferguson had a combination of fentanyl and cocaine in his body according to Medical Examiner
Police found Ravens outside linebacker Jaylon Ferguson unresponsive last month in a Baltimore home, and according to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, Ferguson died from Fentanyl and Cocaine.
Bruce Goldfarb, the agency’s spokesman, said the death had been ruled an accident following an autopsy of the 26-year-old.
According to the Baltimore Sun, investigators have not ruled out the possibility of an overdose, but there was no foul play.
Ferguson’s family issued a statement following his death calling it “one of the darkest moments in our lives.” It went on to ask for privacy during this “difficult time.”
A viewing and funeral service for Ferguson is scheduled for Saturday in St. Francisville, Louisiana.
Please keep the Ferguson family in your prayers during this tough time.
