Texas Indoor Football Game erupts with major brawl | Players hit with Chairs from the stands, Fights & More (VIDEO)
They do say everything is bigger in Texas, well the Indoor Football League was wild this weekend when a brawl broke out between the West Texas Warbirds and the Dallas Prime.
In the fourth quarter of the game, a fight broke out between the two teams and it got ugly fast.
The fans in the stands at Ector County Coliseum in Odessa, Texas, began taking matters into their own hands. A man actually hit a player in the head with a chair from the stands. It is a bad fight.
In a statement, Warbirds’ President Leif Kertis called the incident “embarrassing, regrettable, and inexcusable,” before adding that the organization is cooperating with local authorities.
“We are confident that once details emerge many items will be cleared up. We can confirm that as of right now no Warbirds players, coaches, or staff are subjects of the investigations.”
This goes down as the longest fan-on-player, and fan-on-fan fights in football history according to Outkick.com. Check it out, it was bad.
