North Carolina community is mourning the death of a standout high school football player who was shot and killed
Bessmer City High School lost a very good football player earlier this month. Now, the Gaston County community is mourning the death of the 17-year-old high school standout football player.
KD aka Kamarion Degree was returning to school for his senior year, looking to have a huge year and hopefully hear from some colleges. That was cut short after he lost his life in a senseless shooting.
Concord Police say Degree was shot while riding in a car with his brother and another person. Neither Degree of his brother were the target.
Concord Police arrested and charged 24-year-old Paris Johnson and 18-year-old Witness Haynes.
The community is trying to come together after the senseless crime. The family is hoping to raise some money for funeral expenses by starting a GoFundMe. If you can donate anything it would be a huge help.
