What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

I believe the keys to being successful on the football field are having a positive mindset, putting in the extra work on your own time, and taking care of business in the classroom as well.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

I bring great energy everyday whether it’s practice or a game I try to amp up my teammates as much as I can.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

I would hang with Davante Adams, he is the blueprint for receivers of my build. By far my favorite receiver.

What sets you apart from other wide receivers?

My ability to create separation because I’m tall a lot of defenders don’t expect me to be so quick.

What are your favorite things about playing football for Adams State?

The community, the relationships, and the new culture we’ve built here. This is like my second home.

What should we know about Elijah Harper the person?

That he is a very laid back person, loves to be around his family, and the best 2k player in the world.

What is your favorite route and why?

Either the post or corner because there’s so many different tempos and moves you can use to get open.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

My favorite would have to be becoming NorCal Champs in Juco when I played at College of San Mateo.

What is a moment that improved you as a football player?

The covid breakout. When everything got shut down I was able to really focus on my craft working with Latef Grim and that helped me elevate my game a lot.

What would a team get in a player like you?

Someone that is dedicated to coming to work everyday, will do whatever it takes in order to help the team win and someone that will embrace the competition not shy away from it.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

Playing with all my brothers from the returners to new guys we got something cooking up down here we just are waiting to show everybody else.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Tracey Reynolds, he was injured last season so he didn’t get to showcase his skills but keep an eye out for him.
