What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Football allows me to operate in my gift/talent. I’m happy when I’m playing football, I have fun, I have impact.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

During Pop Warner I remember playing this team and we lost 0-44 the first time.Fast forward to playoffs and we have to play them again to go to the championship, (I played QB at the time) but I used the last seconds of the game to score and put the score to 43-44, then we went for two to win the game. To always guarding the top player on the other team. To getting to play with my brother as long as we have has been a blessing. Playing side by side on the field. One of my favorite moments that I’ll remember is forcing the PBU that resulted in Tae getting a pick during our game against Rocky Mountain.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

I take inspiration from all of them but if I had to choose: my Pops. He instilled a complex of true confidence, belief in self, to carry myself in the best regard. Our reputation speaks volumes!

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

Vibrant, not in the sense of being loud, but in the sense of my presence being known. My energy is dignified, comforting (for my teammates), tamed. Those around me know I’m locked in!

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Deion Sanders! Coach Prime embodies how I carry myself. A man of God who walks in faith, in his confidence, who happens to be one of the greatest corners/athletes ever.

What should we know about Dorian Hardin the person?

I love the process, the journey of life and in the process of becoming who I am made to be I will accomplish my goals and my dreams. I like puzzles/riddles, I like to challenge myself even outside of sports. I can process a lot so I test my limits. What am I truly capable of?

What is your favorite coverage and why?

Press Man on an island, I love the competitive factor of 1 versus 1, who’s better?!

What are your favorite things about playing football for College of Idaho?

The guys I played with and get to play with!

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Staying poised. Challenges are inevitable, but that’s what makes it worth it because in some fashion or form I will change. My approach is ensure my mental is good and I’ll always be straight in the end because, at the end of the day God always has me, that’s my outlet and I know I have a great supporting cast.

What would a team get in a player like you?

Any team would get a student, a leader, a generational talent, someone who never settles for good. If I’m on the field, then there’s always a chance. If I’m on the team, then there’s always a chance. That’s what a team would get in a player like me. Also fast, smart, sisciplined, and tough.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

I’m looking forward to the challenge and journey of leading my team to a National Championship. It’s going to take a lot, but I’m excited for it. Also looking forward to a breakout year for myself and others on my team.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Defensively, I would have to say Bridger Marboe, he’s tough and knows the game. Fast enough to play corner but can still go and play strong safety. Versatile player for the team. I still think Isaiah Abdul was underrated as well. Offensively, I would say Justin Hellyer. Dude was a complete beast, had the whole package that a running back needs.
