What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2023 NFL Draft?
I’m a top prospect simply because I get the job done with no excuses. Many players in my position can block really well, or run routes and catch passes really well. Rarely will you come across a tight end who is equally good at one, as he is the other. Feel free to contact my head coach Todd Cooley on this.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?
The age I was first interested in was 7 years old when I was watching Reggie Bush play for USC.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
One thing NFL teams should know about me is I’m always looking to improve and learn new things that may help me on the field. I am always on time and never miss a meeting without pen and paper.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
If I could donate to one cause in the world it would be to less fortunate children. Kids don’t ask to be put in certain positions they are in and it isn’t their fault. I like to help many people who can’t help themselves.

What is the best advice you have ever received?
The best advice I have ever received was to ask questions. Do not worry about what other people may think, if you are confused, ask.

Who was your childhood hero?
My childhood hero is my mom, no question. She has done so many things w/o help and I’m still waiting till this day to repay her.

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?
The most underrated teammate at my school is a player by the name of Tamos Stevenson. He’s a smaller linebacker but size has no effect on ability.

What is your biggest pet peeve?
My biggest pet peeve is laughing when I’m being serious.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character. What was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
The hardest moment in my life was when I had a child that passed away, only living a few seconds on this earth.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?
My school is special to me because when I took my break from football, it is the only school that decided to give me another opportunity.

What is your favorite snack food?
My favorite snack food is popcorn, extra butter please.

What is the best part of football?
The best part of football is watching your teammates succeed. Scoring TDs, catching Ints, that sort of thing.

If you could sell yourself in one sentence, what would you say?
If I could sell myself in one sentence I would say: “Chancie Tidwell is a humble beast. “.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL, who would it be?
Dalton Shultz. Dalton is an underrated tight end in the league. a very good pass catcher and a very good iso blocker. much like me, I have been undervalued almost my entire football career and it’s time I show people what I’m about.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
If I could have dinner with 3 people dead or alive, I would choose Nipsey Hussle because he is an inspiration that you don’t need to come from wealth to make it in life.

The second person would be Devin Booker. He made it from Mississippi and is one of the biggest names in sports right now.

And thirdly, my Mom. I just want her to know I appreciate all the sacrifices she has made and want to repay her for being the best mother anyone could ask for.
