16-year-old Ohio high school football player Cameron Kerkhoff was killed in a car accident
Cameron Kerkhoff had a bright future and was a standout linebacker for La Salle High School in Ohio. According to reports, the 16-year-old was killed in a car crash on Wednesday afternoon.
Kerkhoff was an outstanding player and a great kid off the field. The principal at La Salle Aaron Marshall sent families and staff the news and they held a prayer for the young man.
The 6’2, 176 pound linebacker registered a pair of sacks and had an interception last year.
Please keep the Kerkhoff family in your prayers during this tough time. The La Salle Lancers are less than a month away from their first scrimmage and officially begin their season Aug. 19.
