A former Boise State football player was shot and killed on the 4th of July near a nightclub
A former Boise State football player was shot and killed early Monday in a shooting near a downtown nightclub in Sacramento, California, according to police.
Around 2 am, Greg Grimes a 31 year old former Boise State football standout was identified by police as the victim.
Greg Grimes was a defensive tackle at Boise State from 2009 to 2012, a period in which the Broncos went 49-4 and beat Texas Christian University in the 2010 Fiesta Bowl.
The Sacramento police department are looking for any help they can get, because there were four others injured in the shooting.
So far, Grimes is the only dead, so we need to crank up those prayers and pray for everyone to live and that the police catch the shooter. Please keep the Grimes family in your prayers as well tonight.
