What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2023 NFL Draft?

What makes me a top prospect is my versatility and knowledge of the game. I can play inside and outside the box as well as blitz between the tackles or rush off the edge. I can fit in either zone or man schemes, I’ve played and learned a lot of different defenses.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

At age 8 I knew this is what I wanted to do with my life.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

I take pride in my work ethic. I do the little things right on and off the field, so I can lead by example.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

Inner city youth programs, the kids are the future.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

To fall in love with the process. By focusing on execution rather than results.

Who was your childhood hero?

My mom because I watched her exhaust herself to make sure my sister and myself had everything we needed.

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?

Darius Nichols he was a force on special teams every week as a freshman. He has all the tools to be great.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

When people lie.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

My freshman spring I got sick with mono and almost failed out. I was failing six classes at midterm I also lost around 25 pounds. I almost hardened my heart and gave up. I couldn’t go out like that so I had to lock in. I finished the semester strong and was eligible for the fall. I also ended up starting in the spring game.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

The professors, I was going through some stuff mentally towards the end of the semester. They reached out and showed they cared about me as an individual.

What is your favorite snack food?

I’m not really a snack type of guy but if I had to pick definitely ice cream.

What is the best part of football?

I’m very competitive so this is a tough one. I’d have to say either the competition or the life lessons football has taught me throughout the years.

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

I will make a difference on any team that gives me an opportunity, believe that.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

Kwon Alexander

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

Ray Lewis, Paul the apostle, Muhammad Ali. They all had very interesting lives and I could learn so much if I was able to sit down with them and pick their brain.
