What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2023 NFL Draft?

I think being from a small school, gives me an edge that not many other prospects have. I have a bigger drive to go out and prove what I can do and continue to improve my game than guys from big schools.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

As far as I can remember, I always loved watching football on TV with my dad. Eventually, I convinced my mom to start playing in 6th grade and haven’t looked back since.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

I think NFL teams should know I am incredibly diligent and hard-working in the game of football. They may hear that a lot from other prospects, but we guys at small schools have to follow through since we don’t get the same attention.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

A cause that really is near to my heart is the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). I started attending it in high school and joined as a volunteer. The program is awesome as we help mentor inner-city kids with football, school, and just life.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

Consistency and dedication will greatly increase your skill at whatever it is you invest that time into.

Who was your childhood hero?

I think I have always been a big fan of Batman growing up.

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?

Sid Boros

What is your biggest pet peeve?

When my roommates say they will clean their dishes, and then they don’t.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

Earlier in college, my grandpa whom I was very close passed away. That made the transition into college and also collegiate football even more difficult than it probably was at the start. But, the tough situations we get put in are either things to knock us down or help build us stronger, and I think that was a very tough time, but ultimately it helped me grow a lot as a man.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

Bethel is very near to my heart now as I will be leaving the place soon. The people and culture of the place from faculty members, staff, students, other athletes, and the coaching/support staff have made this place something I am truly glad I got to call home for the past few years.

What is your favorite snack food?

Favorite snack food would probably be some sort of chips and dip.

What is the best part of football?

I would say my favorite thing about football is the mental challenge it provides. Especially at OL, there are so many intricacies to each play and against each defender, it requires a lot of thought very quickly for success. This is even amplified as five guys try to work as one.

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

I have a lot I think can contribute right away even as a small school guy, but even more I could contribute later, and I am eager to learn and grow to make that happen.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

I think I have play style similar to Quenton Nelson. I love getting after it in the run game and making that presence known, but I work really well with the others to provide that pocket for the QB when it comes to it.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

Three people I would like to have dinner with would be Joe Thomas to pick his brain and learn more about OL, Elon Musk and the technology innovations he is working on and specifically the engineering aspects, and Will Smith because I think he’s funny and love his movies.
