Indiana High School quarterback Owen Scheele has suddenly passed away at the age of 17

Owen Scheele the star quarterback from Fort Wayne Carroll High School has passed away. He was scheduled to be a senior this fall.
Posted on the Carroll football social media account Tuesday was the message: “We have an angel playing for us this year.”
“It is with heavy heart that we share the passing of one of our own,” the message continued. “Owen Scheele was more than just a great football player, he was a genuinely amazing person who would light up the locker room every practice, and at every game.”
Scheele played in several games last season for Carroll, completing 20-for-40 passes for 388 yards and four touchdowns. Scheele passed away after he was suddenly hit with leukemia.
We wanted to showcase Owen’s film to honor him. Bless his family and we ask that the Lord blesses them all.
