What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Growing up I had a close family friend in Andre Reed and I have alot of family members that like football and once I stepped onto the football field it became a part of my life.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Winning a championship my senior year of high school, moving onto the collegiate level and playing there, and establishing bonds with my teammates and coaches.

What sets you apart from other wide receivers?

My time spent in the film room, I love being a student of the game and I love spending as much time in the weight room and film room as I do on the football field.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

I bring a strong and confident energy on the football field that excites my teammates and helps increase their level of play.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Adam Thielen, I find similar interests in our play and our stories are similar.

How do you prepare for games?

I always make sure I stay on top of my hydration levels and protein intake during the week and make sure I get enough sleep to be ready for gameday.

What should we know about Drew Schwindenhammer the person?

I love to compete, my competitive nature is at an all time high right now and I’m excited to push myself to the next level and I welcome all new challenges.

What is your favorite route and why?

A post route is probably my favorite because I love hammering and tracking the ball downfield.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I always take it as a blessing because it could always be worse. So I take them head on and look forward to new challenges.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A leader, someone who is always willing to fight for the guy next to him and do whatever it takes to get the win.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

I’m looking forward to helping my team win a championship and to be the best teammate possible.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Hakim Melvin, he’s one of the most unselfish players I’ve played with and not only is he one of the best offensive players I have played with but he excels on special teams as well.
