What makes you a top prospect at your position  in the 2023 NFL Draft?

My athletic range & build allows me to play at multiple defensive positions on the field. I have the ability to lock down man to man while also showing up big in the run game.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

At 5 years old I started playing for my town’s local flag football team. My family already had been heavily involved in the game and once I began, I never looked back. I loved it ever since.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

One thing NFL teams should know about me is that I take great pride in my work & those who surround it. I’m one who comes prepared & dialed in from the moment I step into the office. I have the ability that allows my gameplay and actions to positively affect the room.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

One cause I would donate to is ending world hunger. With the number of different resources and goods we have, there is no way one should starve while some have access to an extreme abundance.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

Eliminate distractions and put 100% into whatever it is you love doing. I’m a big believer in going out and chasing your dream no matter what it is. If you’re only going to give it 50%, leave it alone.

Who was your childhood hero?

My childhood hero would have to be my Mother. Being a hard-working single parent, she’s set an example of what hard work and dedication is. I would watch her work 6 days a week, countless hours and still she found a way to provide and be there for me. Without her upbringing I wouldn’t be half the man I am today.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

My biggest pet peeve would have to be someone who doesn’t take pride in cleanliness. I’m big on making sure my living environment is clean, especially in places like bathrooms.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

The most difficult moment I had to overcome in my life was the loss of my father at age 5. Being young and having to understand he was gone forever wasn’t easy. I was extremely close to my father and admired him in many ways.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

My school takes great pride and both academics and athletics. We play at a high d2 level and have had countless years of winning seasons. This place is special to me because they do not except mediocrity and they want to push you to be the best student-athlete you can be.

What is your favorite snack food?

Oatmeal cookies with icing (no raisins)

What is the best part of football?

The best part about football is that is it builds character and structure while also being able to take part in a fun/physical game. I’m one who loves the physicality and the team bond the game brings.

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

I’m a great listener with the ability to understand/complete assignments and adjust on the fly.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

I would compare myself to someone like Derwin James. He is a very physical player in the run game and has the ability to play lock-down coverage. Playing in a similar cover 3 system, I’m able to dissect Derwin’s game & learn from him.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

  1. My father (Deceased): I would have to choose him because I would love to see what type of man he would have for me to look up too now. People who knew him said he was always genuine.
  2. Jay Z: I respect his worth ethic in music & how he attacks his business plans. People respect him based off his actions not just his words.
  3. Jon Snow (Game of Thrones): When his mind was set on something that would benefit everyone as a whole, he did whatever he needed to do in order to protect home and his people. Well respected and was a huge team player. Another guy who lead with actions and had a way with words.
