Derek Carr sounds like he would like to add Colin Kaepernick to the quarterback’s room

Derek Carr is a great human being, and recently he met Colin Kaepernick in a workout with the Raiders. Carr was speaking to reporters yesterday, and he was asked about spending time with Kaepernick this off-season and Carr had nothing but great things to say about the former NFL gunslinger.
While the Raiders only worked him out last month, it sounds like Carr would be okay with bringing him on board. Right now the Raiders back ups are Nick Mullens, and Jarett Stidham. Colin Kaepernick in my opinion is an upgrade to both of them even without playing in the past five years.
Kaepernick has not played a down in six years, and he did go 1-10 that season throwing for 2,241 passing yards and 16 touchdowns with only four interceptions.
I think the Raiders should add him throughout the preseason and see if he can compete for the back-up role. Why not? What does it matter? Competition is great to push younger guys.
