What are your favorite things about playing football for Lehigh?

Just the group we have and great tradition, love playing for Lehigh and want to win a championship.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

I always bring maximum effort, maximum energy, be a leader and go be a boost for everybody. Take pride in motivating my team with the energy I bring.

What is your favorite route?

Bender or the over route.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Friday night lights in high school in Georgia and at we had a couple big overtime wins and big wins against our rivals. Started playing football when I was 6. But I just want to come out in our upcoming season and make some more memories.

What sets you apart from other tight ends?

My ability to separate myself in routes, the way I catch passes on 3rd down, pass blocking, and the way I prepare and see defensive tendencies.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Rob Gronkowski, just because of the energy he has and the way he has fun and we both wear number 87, he’s always having a good time and I would love to hang out with him.

What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Just from a young age all I wanted to do was play football, always wanted to tackle I love tackling and have fun. I knew I always wanted to be a football player it isn’t like any other sport.

What should we know about Alex Snyder the person?

Just dedicated to the game and dedicated to winning. Great attitude, great effort and a playmaker.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

It’s all about perspective on and off the field through challenges and I just fight through those challenges to get better and when you get through adversity you get better through it. And if you put the time in you will get through it and get better. Like coach says” tough times make tough people.”

What would a team get in a player like you?

A playmaker, I know I can just thrive under adversity when needed, and be a leader and I know I can raise the standard of players everyday.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

Looking forward to the first game on Friday September 3rd against Villanova, win some games in league play, going against Richmond, Monmouth and Princeton in non conference and that should get us going to be good in Patriot league play.

What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

Effort, intensity, and the desire to win one on one matchups and you gotta have strength and speed and just gotta go be a dog.
