Former Tennessee Titans defensive lineman found shot and killed in Dallas

Former Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Du’Vonta Lampkin was found shot to death in Dallas on Thursday Night.

According to reports, the 25 year old massive defensive tackle who played college football at Oklahoma was staying at an Airbnb that friends had rented for him while he moved into a new apartment.

Lampkin was supposed to check out of the Airbnb on Friday, but friends became concerned when they failed to reach him by phone, according to the newspaper. Lampkin’s backpack, cellphone and wallet were missing.

Lampkin redshirted in 2015 and then played in 17 games — making two starts — over the next two seasons.

The Cypress Falls, Texas, native had 28 career tackles before declaring for the 2018 NFL Draft, where he went undrafted and signed with the Titans.
