Former Robert Morris standout offensive lineman transfers to Alabama State
Dabreaun Stigler Haynes is a big boy that we really liked at Robert Morris University. The 6’4, offensive guard recently made a switch in schools.
I had the honor to sit down with Stigler Haynes to talk about his transition. Learn more about the newest addition to Alabama State.
- What’s your expectations for your upcoming season at Alabama State?
My expectations are to learn as much as I can as well as getting stronger an faster an building connections and helping to bring a SWAC Championship to Montgomery.
- Would you say playing at different levels of college football has made you a better athlete?
For sure playing in the NAIA versus playing for a Division One School is a big leap but I know I’m ready. I’ve been preparing for about three months an I still have time so I’m going to capitalize on every opportunity I have until I report to camp. An honestly I just want to bring more light to HBCU Schools to just say we can compete with the best.
This is a great fit for Alabama State. I think Stigler Haynes can come in immediately and contribute.
