Dabo Swinney’s brother arrested and charged with sexual exploitation of a minor

The brother of Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney is in the news because he was arrested and charged with sexual exploitation of a minor.
Henry Ervil Swinney III, 53, of Clemson, South Carolina, was arrested on April 23. The attorney general’s release said investigators received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that led them to Swinney.
He is charged with one count of 2nd degree sexual exploitation of a minor — a felony offense punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
The South Carolina Attorney General’s Office said Henry Swinney distributed child sexual abuse material through a “Mega” file sharing link.
This is not the first time he has been arrested. Henry Swinney III was arrested in Florida in January 2016 and charged with aggravated stalking. He was sentenced to a $400 fine or 35 hours of community service, according to online court records in Bay City, Florida.
