Marshawn Lynch becomes a minority owner in the Seattle Kraken, then drove the Zamboni
Marshawn Lynch is a great person, and one of the funniest players I have ever been able to witness play the NFL. Well, he has become a minority owner of the Seattle Kraken hockey team, according to ESPN.
Terms of the investment, which was announced Monday, were not disclosed. Forbes most recently valued the Kraken at an estimated $875 million.
“This is something I never would have imagined,” Lynch, who played seven of his 13 NFL seasons in Seattle, told CNBC in a statement. “I always dreamed of playing on a professional team but owning one is something special. As I look back on some of my accomplishments…I’m [going to] continue to count my blessings.”
Lynch has always been smart with his money, and even though Seattle rapper Macklemore also invested, but only one of them drove the Zamboni! Check out this video of Beast Mode driving a Zamboni!
You have to love Lynch, he is a better driver of the Zamboni than the golf cart back in college he drove haha!
