Standout Georgia High School linebacker Luke Duffey killed in a single-vehicle accident in Georgia

Luke Duffey was a hard-nosed linebacker for Bleckley County High School and had a bright future. The 18-year-old unfortunately died Friday morning after a single-vehicle accident in Cochran. According to Georgia State Patrol, it happened around 10:15 a.m. on Abney Road near GA 112.
He was driving his Toyota Tacoma when he drove off the right side of the road and hit a mailbox. The pickup truck went across a private driveway and hit a tree with its front driver side door.
According to police reports, Duffey did not survive the accident.
We wanted to showcase the hard hitting linebacker by post a little clip we were able to find on his Hudl Account.
Please keep his family and friends in your prayers during this tough time. Rest in Peace young man.
