HBCU quarterback Elijah Odom arrested after high speed chase with the police in Georgia

Elijah Odom, 23 was charged with fleeing and attempting to elude police for a felony, reckless driving, hit-and-run and possession of marijuana. 

Elijah Odom a quarterback on Clark Atlanta University‘s football team was driving like a mad man to escape police, according to police reports.

Odom, 23 was charged with fleeing and attempting to elude police for a felony, reckless driving, hit-and-run and possession of marijuana. 

Odom a Newport News, Virginia native threw for seven touchdowns last year and was quite the playmaker for the team.

According to AJC, The police had to perform PIT maneuvers to stop Odom’s 2016 Dodge Challenger. The police were reportedly responding to a drag racing event when they realized Odom had illegal tint on his windows. Odom reportedly had multiple people in the car with him but let them get out at one point during the pursuit.

Odom also struck a vehicle while trying to avoid police. Two men were taken into custody after the car was stopped. Police found a rifle, a pistol and weed in the car.
