Raiders owner says he believes in Colin Kaepernick and if his GM said he wanted him they would sign him

Raiders owner Mark Davis just said he would sign Colin Kaepernick if his GM and coaches wanted him. Davis says he believes in Kaepernick and what he can bring to a team.
In Race in America: A Candid Conversation, a production of NBCSportsBayArea.com, host Monte Poole asked Raiders owner Mark Davis about Kaepernick.
“I believe in Colin Kaepernick,” Davis said. “He deserves every chance in the world to become a quarterback in the National Football League. I still stand by it. If our coaches and General Manager want to bring him in or want him to be the quarterback on this team, I would welcome him with open arms.”
So here is my question to the Raiders, should the Raiders sign him? I mean he said he would be willing to take a back-up role. Right now the Raiders have Derek Carr, Garrett Gilbert and Nick Mullens. Colin Kaepernick could come in and compete right now with them.
I want to see someone pull the trigger on Kaepernick already. I am sick of hearing he cannot play or is washed up. Let’s see if he can or not. If he can Amen, if he can’t Amen. At least we can cut to the chase.
