The young boy who fell to his death in Orlando Amusement Park had dreams of playing in the NFL | Recruiters were already scouting him
Tyre Sampson was just fourteen years old, but he was a big kid. He had dreams of one day playing in the NFL. According to his stepmother Wendy Wooten, he already had recruiters looking at him.
“That was his dream, and he was on his way,” said his stepmother, Wendy Wooten, 59, of Venice. “He had so many scouts looking at him. He was going to be a great football player.”
Tyre was a 6’5, 330 pound 14 year old who was training to play football.
Sampson fell from Orlando’s Free Fall ride that opened last year at ICON Park. The ride drops from 430 feet in the air and is known as the world’s tallest free standing drop tower.
There is a video of the young man actually falling out of the ride, we will not post that because his family should not have to see that.
Unfortunately, the young man was rushed to the hospital were he died.
The ride in Orlando, has immediately been closed.
