Falcons have now emerged as a sleeper team to acquire Deshaun Watson | Matt Ryan to Texans?
Holy bananas, this could get interesting. Deshaun Watson could be a very good addition to the Atlanta Falcons, but the Falcons would likely have to part with Matt Ryan.
Today, Adam Schefter announced that the Falcons have joined the mix in trading for the young quarterback.
Deshaun Watson is from Georgia, so returning home for him would likely be high on his list.
Watson was scheduled to meet with the Browns today, but is currently knocking out dispositions for his 22 civil cases. This could be a problem for the Browns who met with Watson today knowing that Baker Mayfield would be pissed. There could still be some major turnover at the quarterback position.
If Matt Ryan and his large contract lands in Houston, it would be a monster win for the Falcons. They could go and add some weapons for Watson. Right now Watson’s wide receivers are horrible in Atlanta. So that could be a problem.
Right now, the Browns, Panthers, Saints and Falcons are in the mix. Is there anyone else?
