Our Time: UCF Football filmmaker Brent Renaud killed in Ukraine covering the war

Brent Renaud was an award-winning filmmaker who directed the famous Our Time: UCF Football for ESPN plus was killed covering the war in Ukraine.
Renaud was just 50 years old at the time of death.
The 50-year-old Little Rock, Arkansas, native was gathering material for a report about refugees when his vehicle was hit at a checkpoint in Irpin, just outside the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv.
Renaud also had ties to the University of Central Florida. The UCF athletic family says he was the director and cinematographer of a series called, “Our Time – UCF Knights Football”. The ESPN series was filmed last year. UCF’s athletic director and former star quarterback shared the news to Twitter wishing Renaud’s colleagues and family peace during this time.
Please pray for the family of Renaud during this tough time. Renaud and his brother were two of the best upcoming filmmakers in the country. Please keep his brother Craig and his surviving family in your prayers during this very tough time.
