Western Connecticut University defensive backs coach Sean Salisbury killed in a car accident

Officials at Western Connecticut State University announced today that defensive backs coach Sean Salisbury died in a single-car crash early Sunday morning.
Since 2020, Salisbury was the Defensive Backs Coach at Western Connecticut State University. The website states, Salisbury spent two years as the defensive coordinator at Coventry High School in Rhode Island before joining the school. He also had a coaching stops as an assistant at Plymouth State University, one that saw the program win the 2017 MASCAC title.
As a player, Salisbury played his high school football at Simsbury (Conn.) High School before playing college football at Castleton University.
