Tennessee High School football standout La’Monte Shute passes away after fatal car accident
La’Monte Shute was the heart and soul of the East Nashville Eagles defensive line. Today the school is mourning the death of Shute, a senior defensive lineman who died in a car accident early Sunday morning.
He was 17 years old. Shute was leaving a friend’s house and was just a few miles from his home when his 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe drove off the road and rolled over a drainage culvert. He was not wearing a seatbelt according to a Metro Nashville Police report.
Shute helped lead the Eagles to a Championship in which they won this past year. The naturally gifted athlete was one of the most talented football players on the roster.
We at NFL Draft Diamonds would like to offer up prayers to the family, friends, teammates, and coaches. To honor La’Monte we wanted to share his film on Hudl, where he had a pretty dominant season. Rest In Peace.
