NFL Draft, NFL Trade Rumors, Scouting Reports & More

Are you ready for the next football season already? Do you really care who wins between Bengals and the Rams?

Are you more excited about the halftime show or the Super Bowl? Be honest?

This year is already flying. I personally feel like last year was a rough year overall with COVID-19 really spiking again, but football was somewhat normal. The great thing about the new year is a new football season! While we still have the Bengals and Rams playing this weekend in the Super Bowl, I think more people are already thinking about the new season and the upcoming 2022 NFL Draft.

I personally cannot blame them! Right now according to online sports betting pages, the Rams are favored to win the Super Bowl as they are playing at SoFi Stadium their home field. So they are able to land homefield advantage and it is the second year in a row that has happened. I am personally ready for the 2022 NFL Draft.

This year, NFL Draft Diamonds teamed up with the Hula Bowl, and 22 of our prospects were able to benefit from receiving another All-Star Game invite to either the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, the East/West Shrine Game and the Senior Bowl. Another six of our players received an invite to the NFL Scouting Combine. While, it was a great overall experience, I did walk away with some major back pain. I was able to truly focus on my sciatica pain relief exercises and have truly benefited over the past month. Alright enough about me, but let’s be honest, the Hula Bowl was a huge hit.

The NFL Combine is approaching very soon, and there are rumors that the players will be in Bubble’s this year. The NFL is going to limit their interactions with everyone during the event. I heard from one source that the NFLPA even cancelled the NFL Agents meetings. The meetings were so important for the NFL Agents because they were always able to talk to the teams and their GM’s to work out some details on free agent deals! Even though they say they weren’t doing this, we know this happened. So what will happen this year at the Combine? Well, think about this. What if agents tell their kids not to run the forty because they cannot meet with their speed trainers before the events? If this happens it could be an interesting show.

I am always looking at online odds because with the Draft approaching one player who continues to see his odds fluctuate is Kayvon Thibodeaux. Everyone thought he would be a top 5 pick but let’s face it, not all draftniks are fans of his. A matter of fact, Todd McShay dogged him the other day on ESPN at the Senior Bowl, saying:

“I heard a lot about Oregon defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux, including concerns that he just doesn’t play with the same fire as some other top prospects,” McShay said. “His ceiling is high, but the floor is lower than what you want for a top-five pick. And based on a handful of conversations, it wouldn’t shock me if Thibodeaux fell out of the top five. Speaking of which, it was very apparent this week that the top of the draft isn’t nearly as set as it normally is at this point. Picks at the top of the first round might be a little more based on team flavor than recent years.”

Thibodeaux actually responded to the criticism on Twitter and it sounds like he is ready to prove people wrong.

There is so much going on right now, the Olympics are on, the NBA is starting to heat up, wrestling in general is getting more entertaining, and we are constantly on the edge of getting involved in war around the world. With gas prices shooting up, and everything going up in price, it really makes you wonder if people are truly focused on the Super Bowl.

To be honest, the minute the Buffalo Bills were eliminated, I really didn’t pay too much attention. As a die hard Bills fan it hurts me to see the Bengals in the Super Bowl when I feel the Bills should be there. But, that is for another day. The one thing that does excite me is the Super Bowl Half-Time Show and the commercials.

I mean they are bringing out some old heads for the Halftime Show. Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blidge and Snoop Dogg. Some of them will need CBD oil for joints, while some of them will be smoking joints before the performance. It is going to be a hit. They said yesterday, that the performers were at the SoFi Stadium performing and the stadium officials were blasting Jon Bon Jovi outside the stadium to ensure no one could hear what was being played. I think the Half-Time show and the Avocado commercials will be great. Maybe we will get some good football as well, but at this point, I am ready for the Draft. How do you feel?
